Fells Point's most elegant dining room feels like a spacious, opulent antebellum parlor. The menu mixes creole and French with a touch of New American, and is accompanied by an expansive, thoughtful wine list. The lobster bisque, with a dollop of sherry added at the table by one of Louisiana's impeccable servers, is sublime, and crawfish étouffée is a worthy follow-up course. AE, DC, MC, V. No... more

This elegant restaurant's Cajun-style cuisine is well worth the upscale prices.

The Scene Remember "Gone with the Wind"? Louisiana evokes that same regal Southern spirit. This is a classy, upscale restaurant, where diners might half expect Scarlet O'Hara herself to descend the dining room's sweeping staircase. The menu is typical New Orleans: French in tradition, Cajun in spirit. The Food An apple-glazed pork chop puts a bit of Southern... more

Howard, our server, was indeed the pretentious, obnoxious rump that the previous review was complaining about. He was sarcastic, obnoxious, and an idiot that obviously had his head flushed down the toilet too many times in high school. When asked which... more

I really wanted to try the food at Louisiana, but unfortunately we didn't stay long enough to try it. There was one server (Howard, try to avoid him) working that night, and he was pretentious and made us feel awkward from the moment we walked in the door. We ordered a bottle of wine, and he asked for our IDs. I'm 24 and my boyfriend is 28, but I didn't bring anything with me, so I didn't have... more

Worst Service in Baltimore

With four star prices, you would expect four star service. Unfortunately, at Louisiana this is not their priority. This is by far the worst service I have received in Baltimore. Yes, it was Valentine's Day, I gave them leniency. But, when you order a $100 bottle of wine and it take the server at least 20 minutes to bring it to your table there is a problem. Our server was rude, and dishonest.... more
