No this is not a good place - do not go there
Well, what can I say. Recently moved to downtown LA to a beautiful renovated 1895 built building. I went to this local food and coffee house but, wow, what rude treatment. And in this economy you would think they would like to be nice, but noooo. It is in a dark alley and has dark tables no lighting throughout. Basically, it is a bar at night that needs extra revenue so in the day calls itself...
I'm so glad that this place has such great reviews. I came here for the first time yesterday. I was actually stopping at wingstop to pick up some early lunch. While I was waiting, I decided to walk over to the Cafe and to my surprise, I had probably the best vanilla late in my life.
The atmosphere is cozy and I can see myself working from the store in near future. The owner is very welcoming...
