I love the Loop. They have the best burgers. They also have great pizza. The Oreo milkshake is really tasty too. It's a family owned and operated chain, though it still retains a restaurant quality. You must, must order the tomato bisque. It's so good, you'll want to drink it. The salads are huge.

I have been going to the the Loop since the mid-80s. The Loop has changed a lot since it opened, but I think the changes are a good thing. The salads are delicious and big enough to be a meal in themselves. Both the California Style and the traditional (I won't call it Chicago-style because it simply isn't) are both great. I can forgive the Loop for not having traditional Chicago-style... more
