Shame on me for handing over a ck. for several thousand without any paperwork. Promised bill/invoice still not sent a full month after job completion. Contractor returned to "redo" a leaking downspout. Still leaks. Slate roof repair on garage still leaking. Lots of money down the drain. Doesn't return phone calls in a timely fashion.

If you want shoddy work, this is the company! I have screws coming out of masonry on the downspout attachments, a ridge roll that's flapping in the wind , two gutters that don't even extend to the edge of the roof. I've left five messages with the owner, Bill Long, over the course of a year. No response. Also, no written estimate, no contract, and I was finally given an invoice (not itemized) several weeks after paying in full and making several request. Boy, did I learn a lesson. Paid $3,500 for a significantly sub-par job.

An addendum to previous review for job costing $3500. Sloppy workmanship: Screws that bracket downspouts to house coming out of the masonry. Garage roof still leaks. When putting up Christmas lights, this homeowner noticed that gutters on front of house do not extend to the end of the roof line. Phone calls regarding this issue have gone unanswered. Buyer beware: I would never recommend this contractor.

Work cost: $3500. Contractor very poor at returning phone calls in a timely manner. Scheduling also problematic. Homeowner paid without insisting on a bill/invoice/contract. (Shame on me - I don't recommend)....

Contractor did not provide any paperwork. Shame on me for handing him a check for several thousand, without requisite paperwork. It's been over a month since work completed and still, an invoice/bill has never been sent. Contractor came back for a "redo" on a leaking downspout. The downspout still leaks - issue still not resolved. Slate roof repair done on garage still leaking. A lot of money down the drain. Contractor takes a long time to return phone calls. One headache after the other.
