Walk in the door and be greeted by a scowl from the owner, who will reluctantly seat you like you've interrupted him while he was enjoying picking wings off flies. The first time this happened, I thought we just caught him in a bad mood, but subsequent visits prove that was one of his *good* moods!

Victor's Deli is a local neighborhood standard. Known for their good food and down-home sensibilities, Victor's doesn't let you down. Adult-sized portions and swift service will keep you happy. Victor's is a well-known deli/liquor mart on the Soap Opera Mile of Franklin near the Mayfair Market and all the Scientology stuff...a true neighborhood spot with the best, best matzo ball and chicken soup. The plum Miami Vice-meets-warehouse decor is sterile, and they definitely need more booths, but you can't beat the freshness and service.
