I love this place, I love this place I love this place. Food is great, even was served warm on st patties day! My friends and I always share dishes because we just can't pick.
ST PATTY"S DAY: you need to be prepared this place will be PACKED! You can get a drink in a reasonable amount of time, and you won't stand in the bathroom line too long but if you don't get there EARLY you wont sit down....

I was delighted with my dinner at the Local. I've been there for drinks, it's always a busy, fun crowd. Had dinner the other night, the food was just terrific. They have wonderful salads, you can customize them however you like. The Shepard's pie was out of this world. They also have nice wine by the glass and the Irish Coffee is the best I've ever had. I went to the Local the evening of July 13th, 2008. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwhich with a side salad and I found (I kid you not) a pubic hair in my salad. After realizing what I was holding in my hand I almost lost it and immediately lost my appetite. That really goes to show how unsanitary their kitchen help really must be.
