Check out the weekday happy hour, from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. The opera crowd hits the scene post-performance, just as sports fans tend to come after the games, albeit a lot less well-dressed.

In Short Celebrity sightings make up for the plain stylings like black granite tables, plush velvet sofas and chunky leather club chairs. Dubya, captains of industry and starlets have all been spotted here. When the A-listers are absent, the Four Seasons' lounge is still a great place to network with local bigshots. This member of the luxury hotel chain does everything right. It stands out especially in the areas of service (reliable concierge, attentive staff, and a luxury spa) and spaciousness (everything about the hotel is large -- guest rooms, suites, and all common areas). Rooms are decorated traditionally: draperies with valances, furniture with neoclassic lines, upholstery with brocades and other... more

The Staff is friendly, but the hotel definitley needs to be updated. It has the feel of a four seasons, but the hotel is out of touch with current trends.

The concierge was friendly, and the brunch was great! But the rooms are old and musty. They were close to the Toyota Center, we could walk to the ball game, but far from any of the cool downtown bars.
I didn't have to get soaked with rain going to my office in the Houston Center!

Pros

+ Nice People, Hotel Attached to Houston Center
