Delicious Breakfasts (outstanding home made corned beef hash), wonderful salads and sandwiches (love their Portabello Mushroom Sandwich) and great salads. Dinners - pasta is great too. Casual restaurant with delightful patio dining. The perfect place for a "close the kitchen" meal! This little gem does not disappoint!

Loard's Ice Cream is always reliable

I've been going to Loard's for nearly 40 years at some location and it has great ice cream and unbelievable "sundae concoctions " if you have great metabolism. Service is often uneven, especially at peak times, but it can be worth the wait.

I love ice cream but not a huge fan of Loard's. Maybe I expect too much because of the premium price? The service is great, the parlor is clean but the ice cream is just ok.
