Grace C. and I went to the Tokyo Shabu Shabu near her home. We walked in a little after 5:15 pm and it was Happy Hour so we got $2 off of our Kobe Tokyo cut plates which were $12 instead of $14. 3.5 more than a 3...

So after going to a few Shabu places in the OC, I figured, I should probably try out some places in my neck of the woods considering I have SO MANY to choose from. So I decided to start a list.

First stop - Tokyo Shabu Shabu.

It's in the Diamond Plaza right off the 60 freeway and Fullerton. Parking in this lot is horrible all the time. There are just so many businesses...

The food is lacking freshnenss and the restaurant smells of dirty wet rag. The ventilation is bad and this is just not worth it with so many other delicious places to be had.

Expensive for the quality, there is better else where. The sauce was watered down, and the meat quality was ok. They were stingy on the vegs and noodles that they give you. It's ok if you don't mind, it looks nice but taste ok
