Little Next Door

Continental Breakfast (and Lunch)

Review Rating
Little Next Door has a great selection of French breakfast and lunch treats. They have wine, cheese, bread, pastries, sandwiches, salad, harisa, side salads, etc. I typically get breakfast and enough for lunch to go every time I stop by. The food selection is outstanding, but parking on 3rd street is difficult. Go early.

Romantic space with celebrities aplenty and hot waiters with French accents. Real or fake, we don’t really care. Just keep offering us plus de café au lait, s’il vous plait. Okay? Get a little platter of cheese and bread, or an elegant salade Nicoise. Pricey, so make like the Frenchies and linger awhile. The paparazzi provide a floor show.

Other than the ambiance and the cozy Euro cafe feel, all I can say is this: I DON'T GET IT. (Oh, and this is coming from someone who LOVES The Little Door).

Pros

+ Cute Outdoor Cafe

Cons

- Tiny portions; taste is blah; overpriced

Mayo is NOT ketchup

We love the atmosphere that comes with outdoor eating and French cafes are usually on the top of our list. So with that said, we decided to try LDND for brunch in addition to the fact that we have enjoyed the LD for dinner. Well, we were definitely extremely disappointed. The service was attitudey and pretty sub par. If you needed to find someone for a drink refill or anything else...good luck.... more
