Top Service, family friendly, value, Portuguese Food and Steak on a Stone
It has moved to 100 York Street, Jersey City, NJ it was our first visit we received great traditional service by the head waiter Fernando. We had a Portuguese sausage flambe perfect with a glass of beer. We were having a very nice Sangria at the time, so our mismatch there. We enjoyed a seafood Paella that was generous with seafood, the clams were the highlight although there was a half lobster to top off the presentation. We finished with a very nice traditional flan. Our waiters were attentive and even crumbed the table between the main and dessert course. We saw others enjoying steak on a stone. Beautiful sirloin and filet mignon were served raw, sizzling nicely on a slab of extremely hot granite, presented in a nice ceramic dish surrounded with trimming such as tomato and garlic which you can grill to your own taste at the table. Our New York City palates were fairly pleased and the service a very nice surprise. We are looking forward to trying the seafood with the green sauce next time.
