Ling Ling Garden

Once-a-Week Treat

One of the best things about this little Chinese restaurant is that it's within walking distance of my home. And rain, snow, ice, wind... whatever, we always walk. And the food is good. I recommend: Vegetarian Spring Rolls, Egg Drop Soup and Special Lo Mein.
Only has a 15 tables; always has soft appropriate music-- great ambience. Great place to meet your honey after work and talk talk.

Dependable Chinese Restaurant & Takeout

Ling Ling has a wide menu of NY-style Chinese food. Although the interior is very nice, I usually just order a lot of food to go and it's ready in minutes. It's right next to the Best Western, so is a good choice if you want to get a meal in the Ellis Hollow/East Hill area. There is lots of parking and it's close to Cornell, too. Prices are cheap to moderate and the food is very good.

Sometimes the food is great other times it is just so-so. I have not found a rhyme or reason why this is the case, but they provide sit-down or take away service. Lunch specials are on $6 and include the main dish, rice and choice of egg roll or soup. One complaint is they only serve pork egg rolls.
