a very fun and quirky locally owned 1970s retro hotel right in the middle of Bozeman, and walking distance to MSU campus. Great breakfast too

What a jewel this place is. I wish we had planned for a longer stay. It was clean, charming and eccentric. Downstairs is a eucalyptus steam room and a hot tub, along with a very well equipped gym. Everyone was so nice, and they let us have our little dog for $10 a day extra. WiFi worked great, great TV channels, enormous rooms.

The lobby is really eclectic and the tour from the front desk folks was fun. The breakfast was the best continental breakfast I have ever had featuring four homemade breads/cakes and a wonderful fruit salad. Really impressive. The elevator was beautiful.\n\nAs the rest of the place was spotless I am sure it was just an oversight, but there was somebody elses soap and used shampoo in the shower.

As soon as we checked into the 2nd floor room, I smelled cigarettes. I went to the truck to get a bag, and saw someone smoking right next to a 1st floor room. This person was a guest. There were signs clearly posted that smoking was not allowed within 50 feet of a building. But I saw a cigarette ash can there onsite! I mentioned this to the clerk but he shrugged his shoulders and said nothing....
