The Levi Coffin House was owned by one of the leading members of the underground railroad movement in the 1830's and on. An excellent docent-led tour is provided for a very modest fee. While the house itself is small, it symbolizes an important time in our history. The tour, lasting approximately an hour, provided details of both the family and insight of what life was like for the runaway slaves striving to get to Canada.
