After waiting for my food I was rudely told CASH ONLY. I was told to go to a liquor store a few doors down to get cash. I was charged $2.00 by the liquor store ATM in addition to being warned that I may be charged by my bank, too. I promised to have cash in the future and they said, "Good." But when I asked for the $2.00 to be deducted from my food bill and I was stymied by the employees apparent incomprehension of English. Out of nowhere no one working in the restaurant was able to speak or understand English despite the fact that we had chatted while i waited. The place's only saving grace is that it is close to my home but I will never go to Laurel Chinese food again. There are many other options for strip mall Chinese food. Save yourself the aggravation and go elsewhere unless you want to be treated poorly and deal with the fiction of not being understood when speaking English. Never again!

We have been ordering food from laurel for over 15 years!

We have been going for Chinese take out at Laurel Chinese Restaurant for years. They are the best around. When you call they have your order ready in 15 minutes if you're picking up. When our Granddaughter comes to visit, she always asks if we can order Chinese food because she likes it so much. I would recommend Laurels Chinese...
I've been going here for years, and the food is great. If I just want quick take-out chinese food this is my place. Food is always great, and ready very quickly. They now take credit cards as well which is nice.
I've had better, but not nearby. If you go, do you own pick up as the delivery is usually I hour approx.
Worst Chinese food I have had in my life. I ordered Chicken and Broccoli- the chicken had this weird fishy taste, not sure if it was cooked or stored next to the fish or not. It was gross.
