This hotel actually overlooks the Vanderbilt Football stadium. You can watch the game from your room if you are fortunate enough to get a room facing the stadium. It is also 1 block from student center and the dorm towers. They do charge for daily parking but the hotel is the most convenient to Vanderbilt. We have eaten here several times and the food is extremely good. Service is a little slow, but when everything is cooked from scratch, I do not mind waiting. I had the macadamian nut encrusted grouper, which was excellent. They even substituted the rice for asparagus for me. Total Ripoff-- They charged my card a double tip....yes for more than I signed for! The service was slow, food was bland. I'd rather eat at Mcdonalds where I will get better service. I should have taken notice with only two couples in the intire restaurant. Never again! One star--place stinks
