Locals have been raving about Lao Sze Chuan - Downers Grove's Chinese grub for sometime now. Though some of the names of the dishes are a bit weird however the taste is the determining factor here which is just fantastic. Some of the must try's are the crispy duck, Tony's 3 chilli chicken, orange chicken and their delish specialty lovers in the stars which is spicy beef made in Szechuan style...

The egg rolls were the best part of the meal. We only ate a few bites of the General Tso's chicken because it was dry and the had no flavor. The pineapple fried rice was alright, but a little plain as well.

For vegetarians, order the veg fried rice (no egg), string beans with spicy black bean sauce and dried bean curd with spicy sauce. NB to me - skip the veg chicken Shanghai style.
Food is excellent.
