I rated these as world class and I mean it. They are just the best donut in Madison. Drove all the way across town just to treat my granddaughter to one. She agreed. Stop by in the morning when they are the freshest.

The cake tastes great and I thought would be a good cost, but there are all of these additional costs that they add in right before you get the cake. Anything but white frosting is an additional cost, although they don't tell you that up front. If you want donuts in Madison - go to Lanes. It is slightly off the campus area and so does not serve the campus population as well as Greenbush, but it surely has some really good donuts. Their other sugar glazed and baked products are also equally good.
