Warner Center location
Ate at the recently opened Warner Center location. Great service and wine list (with some very reasonable selections price wise). Classic American steakhouse cuisine with some interesting variations. I had a huge pot of mussels that were deeeelicious.

Marc Murphy, who blazed across the New York dining scene with his acclaimed interpretation of haute cuisine that was equal parts reverence and iconoclasm, teamed up with his wife, pamela schein murphy, to open their first restaurant, Landmarc, in april 2004. The restaurant has since become a neighborhood favorite, serving contemporary bistro fare that blends French and Italian favorites in a...

Bistro-style dining never gets old: so many choices, all of them hearty and fun. Landmarc has definitely staked its reputation on this guiding principle. Their particular take on bistro fare combines the best of both French and Italian cuisines, which means bowls of pasta right alongside terrines of foie gras. Escargots, braised lamb shank, pumpkin-gorgonzola risotto, sauteed calf's liver and...

Tips About This Business
A very affordable kids menu offers sliders, ham and cheese sandwiches, pasta with butter and more.
The exciting wine list features interesting bottles and low markups. Try the superb Bethel Heights pinot noir from Willamette Valley ($36). No wines are offered by the glass, but half bottles ($10-$20), are available.
There's another, usually more quiet, dining room upstairs which features a nearly enclosed booth that seats up to seven.

The Scene It's both industrial and rough-hewn, with exposed brick, thick wood beams and an open brick oven. Tables are topped with craft paper over linen; likewise, suits are not uncommon, but neither are jeans. A smallish bar sits near the rear of the dining room, allowing for casual dining and wine sipping. Service is engaging and first-rate. The Food There's...

This cozy, intimate TriBeCa restaurant is too good to just be considered a neighborhood joint. Chef/owner Marc Murphy has put his own distinctive spin on this Italian/French rendition of a bistro. Here you'll find excellent smoked mozzarella and ricotta fritters alongside escargots bordelaise. It will be up to you to decide whether you imagine yourself in a Tuscan trattoria or a Provençal...

The special tonight was gnocchi. Well, I have eaten my gnocchi my whole life made by my nanny who comes from Naples, Italy. So, I know how gnocchi should taste. The gnocchi at Landmarc were undercooked. When I asked the waiter to have it more cooked, the cook refused saying that this is the way he cooks them. Well, personally, I don't care how the cook likes it. It was undercooked. Period. At...

The atmosphere is great!! I wasn't too impressed by the food though. I ordered the salmon and asked for it cooked all the way through, which is definitely was not. The waitor noticed my disgust and offered to take it back to have it cooked more. When my food was brought back out - it still wasn't cooked. I ended just taking it to go and cooking it at home. My date ordered the steak - which he...

Even though I moved out of NYC over a year ago, I can't stop raving about this restaurant to all friends and family who visit the city...and I can't wait to go back to eat there again!!!
If you are looking for a fantastic high-quality (not too expensive), non-touristy restaurant, then the TriBeCa location is your place! There is also a location in Columbus Circle at the Time Warner Center,...
