I bought a smoker and all the heat escaped around the door. Didn't cook the meat. Called customer service and was told this was not an insulated smoker. Apologized and that was it. Why make an electric smoker that loses heat and doesn't get hot enough to cook. Packaging is very misleading.

Purchased the 38 in smoker from Landmann. After removing it from the box. I found the quality to be very poor, especially the racks inside. Made in China says it all. I had to make 2 calls now for rack parts. SAVE YOUR MONEY.

I have had all three of the electric smokers and all three have quit with in 3-5 uses. The customer service rep proceeded to tell me that this was the last replacement the where sending me. Yesterday I tried to use the smoker for the third time and it powered up got to 80 and shut off now it will not turn on. The last rep told me that the next one they would send me would have to be propane...
