L. Frank Baum, author of The Wizard of Oz, was born in Chittenango, and the Land of Oz and Ends goes out of their way to trumpet that event. George and Karen are wonderful people and will bend over backwards to get you what you want, even if they don't have it on hand.
I stop on occasion just to see what OZ related items are new. I always find some little nick nack that I want. Not everything is on the OZ theme. Worth a visit.
Although there are subtle touches of The Wizard of Oz throughout the birthplace of its author L. Frank Baum, it is the Land of Oz and Ends store on Route 5 as you enter of Village of Chittenango from the north that caps the visitor's experience.
