While many big chain video stores have allowed their classics collections to go mainly VHS, Lakeside pretty much has the DVD version (as well as the VHS version) if it's out there.

I went to Blockbuster this weekend looking for a couple of classic films but it seems the classic film section is missing these days. Lakeside Videos had them. Their selection is outstanding. I'll go there 1st next time.

This is one of those privately owned video rental stores that should in no way be able to compete with the Blockbuster's and NetFlix of the world, but it does. This store is conveniently located in a shopping center with a Von's, Starbuck's, Dry Cleaners and a few restaurants. They always have a good selection of new releases, despite their size and the rentals are good for a couple of days.
