I was sent here in Feb. 4 an MRI of my lower back. I asked when I could pick up the report. They said that they WOULD NOT give me the report and that I could request a copy from my doctor. When I went 2 my doctors office they said that Lakeside had not faxed the report 2 them and that I would have 2 sign a release so my doctors office could fax a request 2 Lakeside. I recently made an appointment with a chiropractor and they asked that I bring any xrays or MRIs with me. I told them that I had an MRI done @ Lakeside but they REFUSED 2 give me the report. The lady @ chiropractors office told me that the report is mine and Lakeside should not have refused 2 give it 2 me. Now I have 2 drive 2 the chiropractors office a day b 4 my appointment 2 sign a release 4 them 2 get my MRI.
I have had 3 MRIs over the past 15 years and was always given the report. LAKESIDE is the only 1 that took my $ and refused 2 give me the report.
If u need an MRI and want the report 4 your records I suggest Scarsdale Imaging. They are professional and will have YOUR report ready 4 u the next day.
I was sent to Lakeside by my Chiropractor for an x-ray of my back, and was told that the price for the x-ray was only $35. Being a young adult with a minimum wage job, $35 sounded like a deal. When I went in, I had a clipboard with paperwork shoved in my hand, and was asked for my ID and insurance card. I stated that I was just going to pay the $35, and was assured that my insurance wouldn't be run, and that it was for security measures. Now, 4 months later I have a bill, showing that I not only paid the $36 cash price, but my insurance was also run, and I still owe a balance. When I contacted Lakeside and spoke with Lisa - I was told that there was nothing that she could do for me. She also stated that me being an adult I should know better than to hand over my insurance card when someone asks for it (even at a business such as Lakeside), and that it is my duty to pay them the amount due. How is this professional? She was rude, and continued to cut me off when I was trying to explain the situation and ask her questions. I started to think that I was talking to a debt collector and not a supervisor of a medical facility, whose website states that they provide professional service and compassionate care to all of their patients. I will be letting my Dr. know about this, so he might find another MRI facility to send his patients to.
The staff was great, especially the technician doing the MRI. I was in pain and he knew it and talked to me through the speaker and kept me calm. I would recommend Lakeside MRI to anyone. Thank you to all staff.
