La Rancherita is the hidden gem of Tucson Mexican fare. In a city of myriad Mexican food choices, La Rancherita stands apart as a tasty reward for trying the little guy.

Highly recommend the chimichangas, with the carne seca being exceptionally good and the shredded beef coming in a hairs-breadth behind. Try one of Gus' famous Emerald Bay mixed drinks if you want to drink joy as well as eat it.
