As soon as I entered the lobby I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. The lobby is decorated to match it's trendy location, having cool and modern decorations and features (which I wasn't expecting from a budget hotel). Located on 3rd Avenue, nestled between the Gowanus and Park Slope neighborhoods, La Quinta is a great budget hotel in a safe neighborhood. It's close to the R train, so you can get into Manhattan pretty quickly (15-20 minutes?).
