Great for downtown access

We selected this hotel for its decent price and proximity to downtown Denver. The hotel was clean and pleasant, hotel staff was friendly, and it was an easy walk over a bridge to the heart of downtown. It's a good value.

Did not stay because our rooms smelt bad.

The rooms were supposed to be non-smoking but smelled like smoke and other things. The beds were too small. The area did not seem safe. We didn't stay.

Have stayed at laQuinta in the past and never had a bad experience. Mostly the motel is dated you could see light coming from under the door, the dead bolt wouldn't work at all and this motel is in an area where you would want the dead bolt to work, is so close to the the highway you could it all night long.
