Help us make it rightI did not have a chance to eat here because they do not accept credit cards. I never carry cash. The menu looked good. I was slightly disappointed.
Really excellent shrimp cocktail (forget how far from the sea they are; they must have a really good source, and this shrimp cocktail is wonderful!!!). HUGE, pretty much all the shrimp you could eat, and only about $8.25. And no matter the price, one of the best shrimp cocktails I've ever had!!! Definitely the best value, I've ever had, outside...
Yes, the setting is a bit funky, often crowded, but delicious food and friendly, efficient service. We had two different burritos, one bean and cheese, a real staple and it was good. The other was nopalitos and beans and it was out of this world. Very reasonable pricing.
This is Mexican food, not Tex-Mex; and I love it! Yes, it is a hole-in-the-wall and that may scare some off, but I have to say just try it out! They have some of the best food and their chorizo burrito is the best I have ever had.
We didn't get sick. The taco shells were so tough, my husband could only eat the part that had soaked up the shredded beef grease...the top was hard as old shoe leather. My chicken enchiladas....
