Salsa and chips started the meal out right. Fajita quesadilla had a delicious flavor. My husband said that his combination meal was nothing unique. We both enjoyed the rice and beans. We loved the decor. Only down side was the slowness of drink refills as the restaurant was not busy at 2:00 Sunday afternoon.

the salsa was a great start and end to my meal. I ordered a burrito with rice and beans. The burrito was good as was the rice and beans but I added the salsa and it made the food perfect

The food at La Palma is very delicious. Also the restaurant has plenty of seating with lots of banquet rooms, and can handle large groups easily without notice. We sometimes take the after church crowd there and get immediate seating for more than a dozen people without any problem. Also the menu has items that I haven't seen anywhere else...

Mediocre Mexican

My family and I visited La Palma while in Urbana with my son's baseball team. I found the food to just be mediocre. Nothing great, but not bad. We ate mid-afternoon so we had the restaurant almost to ourselves. Even though we had a large party, there was no delay in service. I probably wouldn't go back but it wasn't...

You will be amazed at the folk art depicting scenes of Mexico decorating this venue. Incredibly bright and happy. The menu offers many dishes at very reasonable prices. A basket of chips and salsa on the house greet you.
My fish tacos tasted so so but my sister in law raved about her shrimp dish, a special offer for her...
