La Fondue Restaurant Review

Couples are happy to cozy up to a sultry cauldron of satisfying fare at La Fondue. Yes, the requisite pot of Swiss and Emmental cheeses melted with wine and a hint of nutmeg tops the menu, but diners can also try Cajun fondue with cheddar, beer, shrimp and spices, or "blue tomato" fondue with its hint of blue cheese and slivers of sun-dried tomatoes. Meat courses veer exotic with buffalo,...

Frivolity and fantasy forge an interesting marriage at this unique fondue house. Chalet details and French sensibilities have been replaced by a playful décor inspired by medieval knights, sorcerers, and old stone castles. Unusual fondue and attentive waitstaff make for an exceptional dining experience.

The Scene
La Fondue is a great first-date restaurant. Couples get cozy in big chairs under a star-and-moon motif and share chocolate. What's better than that?

We had a wonderful DATE NIGHT with our best friends. Staff was courteous and the food was fantastic. One little disappointing note to mention was that the FULL BAR was no longer available. Still managed to order some great beer and wine. Thank you! We will see you soon!

The service is great and the decor is eclectic, but my only complaint is how dark it is in there. I totally understand that it's the whole point of setting the mood, but it is really hard to read the...
