La Carreta of Mandeville serves you some delicious authentic Mexican food. The dish that has everyone raving is the Alambres, which is covered with a whole lot of cheese and comes with a yummy bean soup. The Tamales and the Chicken Burriotos are also good orders. A Margarita or two is a must order. Party trays are also available for take out.

Hit La Carreta on the way to the airport. Service was fast, food was great and we were out and on the way in about 30 minutes.

I have been to La Carreta twice and both times it was consistent. Great atmosphere, good service, and mediocre food. The ground beef was not seasoned much, the chicken was tender but not overly flavorful and the steak was the same (fajitas). This is a great place to meet friends and have an appetizer and a drink. Let me start by saying I have been a restaurant waiter myself and worked many years in the service industry. I have never felt so isolated and ignored at a restaurant as I did here tonight. I don't require much service... A polite attitude, full drink, and what dish I order will do the trick.
