We remember things differently. We always try to make the process of taking X-rays as comfortable as possible. That being said not all children are as accepting as others. At the same time we realize this it is also our responsibility to try to accomplish this procedure in order to thoroughly assess a child's dental health. If a child cannot or will not be an active participant in this procedure it sometimes becomes misconstrued that we are not sensitive to their feelings or needs. That is simply not the case. We care for these children and want the best for them. In most cases we are successful at accomplishing this task, and if not we simply stop attempting and try again at a future time.
I spoke to my staff about the perceived lack of compassion and will continue to do our best to keep everyone happy with our services. In response to the allegations of being confrontational. I apologize if you perceived me to be confrontational. It is not my nature or intent. As a Pediatric Dentist I can be passionate about preventive dentistry. When someone declines certain procedures, i.e. using fluoride treatments, it is my obligation as a health care provider to explain the benefits vs risks factors that may be at issue. This simply allows them to make an informed decision. I apologize if you felt "bullied". That was not at all intended.

The office of Dr. Kurt Wagner is a very pleasant experience for a service that can be sooo stressful. Dr. Wagner loves kids, you can tell! This office is professional and fun when waiting for an appointment. The prizes are a big hit with my kids. Our family highly recommend this Pediatric Dentist and office!
Dr Wagner and his staff are Wonderful!! My daughter did so well! I was totally surprised, but the hygienist, Linda, was so sweet, she really took time to help make it a positive experience for my daughter. Dr Wagner then answered all my questions, and gave me some excellent tips about home care and her diet. I really love this practice.
I love Dr. Wagner and so do my kids!!!! He is so friendly and calm. His office is clean, kid friendly, and his staff is wonderful. My kids can't wait to get there. They love the prizes and the playhouse. Highly recommended!! I am thrilled my dentist referred me to his office.
