The Scene Kopp's three locations are visual feasts themselves. The Brookfield locale is nicknamed "Temple" Kopp's for the sprawling space that needs only stained-glass windows and a choir to convert it into a church. Amazing frozen custard, huge burgers, and some of the best onion rings I've ever eaten. Quite possibly one of my favorite places to get a bite in the whole world.

If you don't live in the Milwaukee area, Kopp's is the restaurant most worth a detour. Its custard makes Culver's look like a pale imitation. Now that they have two flavors of the day, even picky people can find something out of this world besides vanilla and chocolate. They also make a top 10 cheeseburger and grilled cheese sandwich. Worth a detour!
