Knotty Pine...
Asked the front desk at our hotel and was advised Knotty Pine burned down and is no longer in business.
I've been going to Knotty Pine since the 1960's and I've never had a bad meal. Their ribs and BBQ sauce are to die for. I was so sad when they had a fire that destroyed most of the place, but they are repairing the place and I wish them the best. I know all their fans are so happy that Knotty Pine lives on. Try them the drive is well worth it.
We wanted to try something new, and had heard of the place, so we checked their web site, got the address and their hours 11am to 9pm then drove all the way there which is in the hood after dark no less, only to arrive at the door at 7:59pm and a sign on the door "until further notice we will be closing at 8.00pm" If you present yourself as a business and have a web page, update the web page...
This is the best all around BBQ I have found in Oklahoma and so far in Louisiana nothing matches up.
