Waste of Money

Dr. Key appears to refer most of his treatments to his staff of "technicians," who seem to have no formal medical training. I do not recommend Key Laser. I paid $150 to have a small spot on the bridge of my nose removed (I was told it is a cherry angioma). The technician, who said her last job was as a bartender, chose a Broadband Laser treatment as a first choice for me, saying that there were other treatments we could try if this treatment was not successful. She neglected to say that I would be charged $150 each time I came in, regardless of the outcome of her suggested treatment. I still have a spot on my nose and am out $150. Key Laser advertises itself as a medical facility, but appears to be more interested in payment than in successful outcomes for its customers.

Very regrettable experience. I visited the Key Laser Institute on October 24th for 50 units of Dysport between the eyebrows. Results took 2 weeks to appear....

A POSITIVE experience is the only way I can describe what I have had at the Key Laser Institute. Dr. Key is very thorough when discussing the procedure options and the potential complications from each one. He has a genuine interest in finding the best procedure and I never felt pressured to choose one over the other. There are follow-up appointments to check on recovery. The employees couldn't be more friendly and warm, yet professional and knowledgeable. The most important factor in my experience, however, was the final result. I went to Key Laser on the advice of another professional in the cosmetic laser industry. I was impressed with Dr. Key's attention. His evaluation was thoughtful and I could tell he was really trying to determine the most effective treatment. We decided on Ulthera, which I did in mid February 2012. About May 1st, I ran into an old client who looked at me and blurted out, "Where did you find the fountain of youth?".
