One of the oldest standing structures in the central Louisiana, this French Creole plantation house anchors a complex of authentic Antebellum buildings and contains numerous exhibits that depict Louisiana history and plantation life from 1795 to 1855. Tours are available.
Wonderful tour by "Patsy" and we were pleased with all the information she supplied. We'd love to come back someday! Very well done with period artifacts.
My family and I decided to tour several plantation homes in the Central/South area of Louisiana. This plantation was by far the most relaxed, personal, and informative. The kids and I were educated, yet stayed very involved and interested throughout! A thank you to the staff who work there! The volunteers are wonderful! Very helpful, informative, and kind! A wonderful tour that I will recommend...
