The Amazing Race, Mom & Kelsey Seybold
How many doctor visits does it take to get surgery for a fractured spine. At Kelsey S the number is 28 and counting.
The Primary, Dr Molly Alakai is very nice but at this point I want a doctor not a friend.
The day they told us there were 3 compresion fractures in mom's spine, they said the first available appointment is in 21 days. I asked, "If you come in with a broken leg, do they tell you to go home for three weeks?" I refused to leave the patient room until we had an appointment. Miraculously, we got one that afternoon. Oh that the nightmare had stopped there! But no, we started this process with Dr Alayai in May. We were to have the surgery tomorrow, but now Kelsey has canceled it. The moment we are thru and can jump from this sinking ship we will be in the air and will NEVER cross the threshhold of KS clinic again. I'll go to Joe's Hospital first.
If you have a choice, skip Kelsey.
