Men Tei Restaurant Review

On a Back Bay shopping break, stop by this Vietnamese hole-in-the-wall for the truest of tonics---noodle soup. Choose your noodle---we like egg best---and in a matter of minutes, you'll be seated in front of a huge, steaming bowl (even the small version is large). Add in the accompanying basil, mint, bean sprouts and a few wedges of lime and slurp your wardrobe woes away.

Editorial Review

This tiny Japanese cafe's noodle soups and rice bowls are popular with area students and expats looking for cheap eats.

Was thinking a noodle shop near where a lot of students live would be good. Wrong.
Service was fast - only good thing I can say.
Food was greasy or tasteless and none of the ingredients seemed fresh. This was particularly true of the "deep fried chicken" that I ate despite my instincts based on the initial taste. Fell ill...

Awesome Food for awesome prices

We picked Mentei because we like Japanese and other Asian food and there were several items on the menu that looked like...

I went to this small restaurant during a short evening in Boston! I didn't know about this place,
and I couldn't read any advices on the internet (otherwise I could maybe avoid this horrible place).
from outside it looks nice, and cosy, but inside....
I was on a small table near a wall. The table, the wall, and all around...
