Karen's First Choice Deli

Good food, pleasant people. We ordered food for delivery -- two delicious sandwiches and fries. Our sandwiches were a steak and cheese and a grilled chicken. We ordered the medium-sized sandwiches;They were huge! And the one order of fries was big enough for two of us to share. The young lady on the phone and who delivered (Dia) was very pleasant and friendly. All-in-all a positive experience....

From O.K. to a DUMP!. I have been going to the deli for many years. At least once a week for a long while. I really liked the cheese burger, the bun and string type fries. The girl at the register always knew exactly how i liked the burger. The cook always made it the same. At the time the only complaint I had with the establishment were all the political cartoons that were taped to the order...

I used to LOVE Karen's. I have tried to order a BLT twice in the last 2 months and they are always out of bacon. I settled for a veggie/cheese sub, which is over-priced for NO meat. The tomatos were sliced so thick I had to take them off the sandwich, 1/2 jar of pickles were on it(1/2 of which I removed), I did not order it with mustard, yet it was smothered with it and it was missing the...

This Place is on Last Legs :(. Nasty dirty dump with terrible food. Claim best Philly in town and it is terrible (really bad). They have no AC (cant afford it) and open front doors (its 95 now in FL mind you). VHS tapes to rent all over diner?? Seriously??
