This is my second year at US Budo Kai Kan. I started learning karate and realized I could take additional courses if I wanted in Iaido or Jiujitsu, Kempo or Kendo. The teachers are very patient and very knowledgeable. What's most important for me is the quality of teaching and that I feel comfortable but challenged when I learn.This is a great place!

After signing up for classes I discovered this school is traditional, has consistant discipline but is small and like an extended family. The teaching is excellent. Since the classes are small I could never get away with a wilting performance. I had to try to always give "it my all".

Besides learning karate and self defense moves my 4
year old son is learning how to take orders, respect
the teacher and other students. I'm surprized at how
attentive he is to the teacher. The teacher appears to
be well trained and is also making the classes fun!
