Kaldi's has reopened, and the vibe is pertty much the same, but the service and consistency are both dramatically improved. The coffee is still top-notch, and they have added beers on tap, including several of the local (and excellent) Barrelhouse beers. If you haven't been down in a while, you should try it out again.

Kaldi's is a great place to grab a meal, a cup of coffee, or just hang out with friends. The atmosphere is totally laid back, and they have live music some nights. after the rotten attitude there i hadnt been back in years- acted like it was a big deal to put a slice of cake on a plate - went back and gave another try and still wasnt impressed with the service might like it better if i didnt have to hassle with parking and panhandlers
