Kaiser's American Bistro

We decided to go to this place after our first choice was not open.  I have only eaten at this place once and that was years ago.  I remember not being impressed at that time and was hoping that impression would change.

Speechless. Just threw two dinners in the trash! Friendly people, but the two dinners were horrible and not edible. I have had their burgers and fries before, when it was the original Kaiser's back in 1995. Was excited to see that after being an ice cream shop and soda fountain for years ... They again serve lunches and now, also dinners. The burgers, i remember as being one of the best I have...

Disappointed. This was our second trip to Kaisers and we decided to try the catfish, fried chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans and onion rings. It took twenty minutes to get our food. The catfish was really good. It had a crisp coating and was a light golden color. The green beans were well seasoned. The mashed potatoes were very lumpy and there was not enough gravy. Love the Atmosphere.. Their Burgers and Fries are great. The Bison is delicious. Tried the meatloaf and it was yummy, the only negative I would say is that the meat loaf had huge chunks of garlic. I like garlic, but it was just a little too much.

Refused service. We were in the area and decided to stop by on Sunday 1/11/15 at 245. When we walked up the door said they close at 3, since we only wanted ice cream we walked in and before we sat down we were told by the waitress that they were closed. I feel they could have said the grill was closed but still offered ice cream, it would have only taken 5 minutes and we would have been gone by...
