We love Kai's Restaurant in Alameda--the sushi specials are HUGE and beautifully-prepared. Mmmmm, just delicious. But my mother's favorite was the chicken salad. The restaurant is really cute. They have really good food at a good price. This was one of my co-worker's favorite places to get some really quick, really good food.

They just opened a Kai's in downtown Oakland- Thank you Lord!!!!!!
The fish is of excellent quality, the rolls are suberb and the service is friendly.
I live close to the Oakland branch of Kai's and go there once a week, it's just that good!
I always make my own specialty rolls (Cherry blossom with all Salmon, and Spicy Tuna with added cream cheese)- they are happy to oblidge and do not charge... more
