No one bakes like these ladies do! The sticky buns are to die for. Nice nice people too. LOVE Topsail Beach but the food choices leave much to be desired....
I read some negative reviews here and remembered a weird experience I had at Just Baked last summer--and it was NOT the fault of Just Baked! It was almost closing time, and there was only one young woman working. Some very hurried people rushed in and quickly became impatient that she couldn't wait on them fast enough--but she was waiting on me and my friends! I was astonished at how rude THEY were. My family always made it a point to stop at Just Baked on our yearly vacation to Topsail for the cinnamon rolls. We heard that they moved to a new location so we called to find the address. For whatever reason, it was like pulling teeth to get the employee to tell us the new location. Actually, it took two different phone calls. When we finally found the bakery the employee was very rude to the point that she told us to stop talking because we were getting her confused. She absolutely did not want to be bothered to take our orders. The bakery was only opened 30 minutes and they were...
This was the final trip to this bakery. My sister and I were the first customers of the day and we were met by a very rude and disrespectful employee who found it difficult to complete my order without complaining throughout. A lesson in customer service is needed desperately. How difficult is it to say a quick hello or smile. I do not want to hear you complain about other customers who are helping to pay for you salary. There are other bakeries to visit on the island. This is not the first negative experience I have had at Just Bakedbut it will be my last.
First let me say, we love topsail beach! My family, friends and I came here recently on a week-long vacation and this is by far the best and relaxing beach...
