Join this magnificent symphony orchestra in celebrating its 80th season. Enjoy Beethoven's Ninth Symphony at the lavishly decorated Orpheum Theater . On Friday and Saturday evenings, you can attend SuperPops, which includes Garrison Keillor, The Hunchback of Notre Dame and Holiday Fanfare. There are also family concerts, Sunday matinees, MasterWorks and Spectrum Chamber Orchestra events.
The building itself is a work of art. I highly enjoyed my visit there. All the different pieces were tastefully showcased, making it easier to enjoy them. If you have little ones, I highly recommend the Art Works room. Building, painting, sketching, it's all there for your child. Overall, my experience was fantastic. If I could visit every week, I would.
I was born and raised in Omaha. I remember briefly my Grandpa bringing me to Joslyn when I was younger, but don't remember much. As I got older I've been there a few times and I love the uniqueness and quality of their setups. I think they should have a dinosaur or ice age theme there. Anyways love the place and had some great times there. Thanks
It's an amazing museum with an incredible art collection, and for free!
A true treasure. Something for everyone. Love the history and art. Things for young kids as well.
I grew up at the Joslyn. I went to children's art classes and Bagels and Bach on Sundays. I love their collection and I have been to museums all over the world. Joslyn holds a special place in my heart!
