You can safely say you've made it in this town if your home is designed by Jonathan Adler. The vintage inspired furniture with a modern touch spruces up any living room with splashy colors and funky shapes. Handmade pottery and dishware are delicate and fashionable, while Adler's polychromatic sheets and duvet covers will keep you warm all winter long.

Jonathan Adler's home decor is fun, fashionable, modern and affordable. He is one of my favorite designers. The store is beautiful and the employees were friendly and helpful. If you're on a NYC shopping spree, and like modern design, I highly recommend stopping in - even if just to browse.

I've started to use the word Adler like an adjective - that's how much I love Jonathan Adler's designs and the store. Now if I see something that looks like it could be in his stores, it's Adler-esque.

PROS: high design, innovative, cleanly presented
