Met a group of friends after church last Sunday. Breakfast is only served in the bar. The service was slow and the food just fair. I do need to compliment them on the coffee cake that is served with each breakfast. Nothing outstanding about this place. It seemed to be quite outdated. Oh, the mimosa was good but not good...

We used to go to Johnny's Dock a lot when we first moved to Tacoma in the 1990's. However, we had a bad experience 15 years ago and haven't been back since. Thinking it was time to let bygones be bygones and having a $25 coupon from the entertainment book, we decided to give Johnny's Dock another try.

Went here during a long lunch break. Nice waterfront location, more industrial than retail. Service was fine, I opted for the corned beef and was pleasantly surprised. it was very good, salad left a little to be desired but . . . probably would stop in again

Relaxing restaurant for fine dining

If you're looking for a nice restaurant where the atmosphere is comfortable and quiet, this is the place! So many restaurants (even "fine dining" ones) really have acoustical challenges and are noisy! Johnny's Dock is not one of these. It is a place to go when you want to share a relaxing, fine dining experience without competing with the other...
