Located on Route 9, this old-fashioned pour-house caters to locals as well as those taking a break from a day of shopping at the nearby Natick Mall. Though the beers on tap range from generally good to first-rate (the Bad News brown ale is our favorite), the food has its ups and downs. Had a burger and sweet potato fries and my friend had shepherds pie. It was pretty good. Then we saw a mouse run across the floor from the kitchen to a corner booth. Maybe it was just feeding it's family but it was disturbing. We should have reported it but we were just too tired and wanted to get out...

Yummy hardy food and a variety of interesting beers. I've had their pulled pork sandwich which was excellent. They've also got great fries.

Headed out to John Harvards in Framingham for a Saturday night dinner. The place was fairly busy but we had made a reservation and were seated right away. It took a while before someone came by the table. But the service was fairly good after that. I started with the lobster bisque. That was the best part of my meal....

The burgers were cooked perfectly. My friends liked the chili. The service was very good , the waiter kept our drinks refilled without asking. Not a bad place for lunch.
