I got there early and Joe already had a few cars he was working on...but the wait wasn't that long. He was quick and courteous. He noticed my due date was the next day so, without asking, submitted the smog check results electronically and pointed out to me that I could just make the payment online. TIP: make sure to visit his website at http://www.joessmogcheck.com to find coupons...while most everyone else said at least $50 for a smog check for a newer SUV, he charges only $32 (certificate, tax, & everything included) for any vehicle (including SUVs) before 2000! Highly recommend this place as cheap, quick, courteous, etc!

I mapped Joe' s Smog Check today and drove to his shop. Now, don't expect nice leather seats, with drinks and a cozy room. Joe ' s Smog Check is a small garage in North Hollywood just North of the 134 freeway. The main point is he did the job and he did it right! A+++
