Went into this place asking if I could get a free estimate on a broken exhaust pipe. Was told that was no problem. They called me back the next day with an estimate nearly $500, saying the whole exhaust system had to be fixed (catalytic converter, pipe, muffler, gaskets, everything). I said thanks but no thanks, and I was told that the estimate costs 35 bucks, but that if I got the job done... more
