Just a kiss away from the La Mesa trolley stop, you can breakfast on burritos, scrambled eggs with ham, oatmeal or an egg croissant with bacon and cheese. At lunch, the chicken walnut salad, chili, clam chowder, tuna club and deviled egg salad with bacon quell the tummy's rumbling. For the kids, there's PB & J or toasted cheese.

I live up the hill from Jitters, I think the atmosphere is great. I bring my kids there for breakfast and the food is great. They are kid-friendly, have great coffee (unlike their big-name competitor), easy to walk to from home, and best of all I feel great about supporting a local business! Places like this are what make our community unique from everywhere else...thank you!

Stopped by Jitter's and it was under new ownership. Crepe with strawberries and whip cream was good. They serve Calabria coffe and Sochi tea (great coffee roaster off of 30th and University).

Plan to go back especially since it's the closest coffe shop to my house I'm aware of that serves Calabria coffee and Sochi Tea.

Jitters has the best French Roast coffee. We actually buy it to grind and drink at home. The staff is very friendly and always smiling. Keep the coffee brewing.
